We are building a home in downtown Guelph. Check in for weekly updates. So far, we’ve been very lucky. We poured the footings with ‘Formadrain’ a system that combines the footing forms with the drainage system. We used Amvic insulated concrete forms to form the foundation. We were able to form and pour, frame the walls and clad the roof before the rain came again. the roof is up. The doors and windows are in. The electrical and rough plumbing is done.

The insulation is in, and boarding has started inside. Meanwhile, we’re cladding the exterior with Hardy planks in a gorgeous dark grey with white trim.

The project is complete! We taped and finished the drywall, installed hardwood floors throughout, and installed the kitchen cabinets and peninsula. Just waiting now for the countertop. Our client moved in the week before Christmas.
